Welcome to my Blog! Please get comfortable, pour yourself a cup of tea and maybe start a cozy fire while I share with you a little bit about my corner of the Blogosphere.
My name is Aislin Wolf and I am many things, but most importantly I am an eclectic pagan witch, a student of Druidism, a Sybil and a deeply devoted Priestess. As a soon to be English teacher, my greatest passion is reading and most of all writing. I had wanted to start a blog for a very long time but I was waiting for the right time, the right space, the right topic. I soon discovered there is no better time than now, no better space than the one I am in, and no better topic than devotion, mysticism, and the spiritual path.
This blog was inspired by an amazing reading I had with one of my cherished mentors, Devanna Wolf from The Wild Empress. She is an amazing Sybil, artist, tarot reader, Priestess and so much more. She gave me a reading with a spread that she created invoking the Goddess Hekate, who is one of my matron Goddesses. In this reading the Goddess was inspiring me to write and create, and to finally birth to a creative project. That is how the idea of this blog came about.
The other Goddess that I am very dedicated to and to whom I took a vow as Priestess is the Irish Goddess of inspiration and of writers and bards: Brighid.
This blog is named after the two symbols associated with my two inspirational Goddesses: Hekate’s key and the flame of Brighid—hence, The Flame and Key. In this blog I plan to write personal stories, poems, and articles I have researched on various topics such as Goddesses and Gods, Pagan holidays, Magic, witchcraft, spirituality, and much more. I will also write micro fiction stories as well, and plan to write twice a month near the full moon and new moon. I would also love to interview other priestesses, witches, pagans, and spiritual people that would like to share their messages on my blog. If there is a topic that you would like me to research and write about, please don’t hesitate to reach out. You can reach me at priestessaislinwolf@gmail.com or leave a message here on my blog.
I am excited to start this journey with you and I hope you enjoy reading my blog as much as I enjoy writing it.Â
